My favourite italian - and not only - city; I love her!!! It's where a half of my heart always stay.
Really love to walk through 'calles', streets so narrow that, in the intensity of summer - when heat is unbearable - sun can't penetrate between buildings and there's always a bit of refreshment in the shadows.
An entire living artwork where art can be appreciated only by walkin' through it, without the need for entering in some museum: She is THE Museum.

In effect Venice is a very 'sexy' city - both if I manipulate a shot and if I do not.
Photo is manipulated, not only for what it concerns sepia tone but also sky...
...wanna give a particular atmosphere to it, so I put those great clouds:
It seems a really old photo and my attempt was to make Venice a little steampunk-style.
However shot is genuine and taken from a window of a house that look directly at the canal.

I love it. Simple as that.
I'm going to be going to Venice at some stage in June 2006, when I finally get to live out my dream of spending 6 months backpacking around Europe. Can't wait to go to Venice. It's just so beautiful.

Yes, unluckily for those who don't live there - and sometimes also for them - life is really expensive but IT WILL BE THE BEST MONEY YOU'VE EVER SPENT!!!
